#5 Garfield

Starting as a child I connected to Garfield. I wasn’t a depressed kid, but I liked to complain. I also had two orange tabby cats during the first 18 years of my life, so for my whole life, I've always loved the look of those types of cats. I’m also a redhead, so Garfield and I were in the same club. Besides the orange hair, Garfield says what we want to say and does what we cant do. He is also very funny and his timing is always on point, throwing lines away like nothing, not even noticing the genius behind them. I connected to his wit a little bit later in life, but always recognized it.

But the main thing I love about Garfield is his relationship with Odie. It always reminded me of my twin brother and me. Although they fought they loved each other and took care of each other. As a twin, you connect to characters that come in pairs and Garfield and Odie reflected our chaos very well.
